your game key for trackmania nations is located in the file Default.SystemConfig.Gbx (open with a texteditor), you can find the file in your trackmania nations main folder.
You can find the part of your game key within this file if you search after your login name of tmn.

you could buy trackmania original for few bucks in a store, $5 - $10, then you can register this key at
www.trackmanianations.com and then you can use the peer2peer function in Trackmania Nations too, so everyone else will be able to see your car/avatar.
